Movie + La Esquina @ Seremban

The rainbow with the love one.

After submitted my 1st assignmn for my final semester,
Baby and I headed to Seremban for The Karate Kid !!

I believe most of you knows, he's the son of Will Smith.

Awesome!!!
OMG I feel so happy, touch and contented after watched ^^
Should never missed out this movie peeps :)

Can see what's behind? It's the Great Wall !!!

This is really cute, yea Jaden Smith is a 12 year old kid in the movie.
And they both.....are good friends? HeHe~

Pop into Seremban Era Square to chill after movie.
We were at La Esquina, a Spanish Restaurant.
The main reason I choose there coz I'm a cocktail freak ;p
According to Kyspeaks (2008),
basque crab casserole is the signature dish.
Perhaps we were there at midnight, only light food is served.
Thus I didn't see this in the menu list given.

My baby cutie wanna snap pic

Bloody Mary (not watermelon juice kay), B52 and Vodka Martini.

The Vodkatini... -_____________-
taste like plain water.

The shooter seems mild...don't know why doesn't taste nice.
While someone's bloody mary also errr....
really taste like a not-fresh tomato juice >_<

So my conclusion:
They are not a cocktail mixture expert (more like a beginner/cincai one),
in my opinion.

I want to have this since long!!!
But only realized after finish my drinks.

Bloody Mary

History :

Bloody Mary was invented in the 1920s by an American bartender, Fernand Petiot at Harry's New York Bar in Paris. Petiot notes, "one of the boys suggested we call the drink Bloody Mary because it reminded him of the Bucket of Bloody Club in Chicago, and a girl there named Mary."

Ingredients :

  • 3 oz Clamato "Tomato Cocktail" Juice
  • 2 oz Vodka
  • Pickles and pickle juice
  • Olives and Olive juice
  • Salt and Black Pepper
  • Garnish: Lime Wedge, Celery Salt on a saucer
  • 3 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 drops Tabasco Sauce

Directions :

  1. Slice Lime wedge in middle so there is a slit through the lime.
  2. Rub lime on rim of glass all the way around
  3. Dip rim of glass in saucer of celery salt.
  4. Pour ice into glass all the way to the top.
  5. 5 Dashes of Celery Salt
  6. 2 Dash of Salt
  7. 5 Dashes of Pepper
  8. Tabasco Sauce to taste depending on how spicy you like it.
  9. 3 Dashes Worcestershire
  10. About a half inch each of olive and pickle juice.
  11. Squeeze Lime into glass and throw it in there.
  12. As Much Vodka as you would like, depending on how strong you want it!!
  13. The rest with Clamato
  14. Spear a Pickle and Olive with a toothpick to garnish, it depends, some even put some cold cut or even a shrimp!!

Have a nice day…. =)

Fill remainer of glass with orange juice. Garnish with tropical fruits and mint leave.

Dirty Martini

First, put the Martini glass into the freezer so that it can temp down to a cool temperature.

Second, pour some quality dry gin (For better martini's use either Sapphire Bombay or Tanqueray Gin) into a cocktail shaker that has already been filled with ice.

Thirdly, vigorously shake the gin in the shaker for about 45 seconds.

Fourthly, pour the ice cold gin without the ice into the frozen martini glass.

Finally, drop two olives and a half and ounce of Vermouth and serve with a mysterious smile...
